CUSTOMER SPARK #37 - RING-A-DING-DING ROUND 2

We put a customer service spark in place earlier in our 100SPARKS project that challenged us to pick up the phone in our office in two rings or less. Apparently, our staff didn't find that challenging enough, so they've instituted a competition to see who can pick up the phone the fastest. We've got phones on every desk and a few extra laying around, so there is always a mad dash when the phone rings.

Why this is one of our favorite sparks:

Energy! That's what makes this a great spark. Not only are our clients served even faster, but we answer the phone with a higher level of energy (and sometimes even out of breath a little, which I'm sure makes them wonder just what goes on here!). It also adds to the fun in the office, which translates into a more positive energy that shines through every day.
