We offer free public workshops at sparkspace, such as our 5 Sparks of Super Service workshop. Yes, it's partly a marketing tool for us, but only in the sense that once we get people here, they love it and they want to come back. We don't ever "sales pitch" anyone or cram our information down their throats.

What we do, though, is to provide mini-versions of our full workshops. We treat these shorter, free workshops as "executive summaries" of the "real" workshops. In other words, we pack in the most important information and give away some really great tools, tips, and information.

While the economy is a little slower, we are cranking up the frequency of our free programs as a way to inspire our past, present, and future guests and to create some great new connections...not just between us and our guests, but also between the many different guests that come to our workshops.

Why this is one of our favorite sparks:
Some people might think we're crazy for giving away our workshops for free. We have discovered that the more value we give to our guests, the more they love us and the more loyal they become. It also serves our mission to make Columbus a more fun, creative place to live, work and do business.
